What a perfect day for journeying into the canyon! To climb every mountain and follow every rainbow until I found my dream – which in this case was a gorgeous waterfall! I had an inspired idea today to take a break from the “to-dos” and head to the nearby hills!
And yes, they certainly were alive with a cacophony of their own unique rhythms!
Snow falling from the boughs of trees, leaves of the aspens swaying in the breeze, as well as the tympany of the waterfall – the water dancing around rocks and fallen branches in the stream!
What an honor to be in the presence of such perfection! To me, nature is a beautiful reminder of love – honoring and loving yourself as you are right in this moment. As it is in each moment where we create our steps forward.
What a perfect place to quiet the mind and take in all of Mother Earth’s marvelous wisdom!
In a comfortable seat, I closed my eyes and took in the sounds of the water as it sung with such passion. Allowing the energy of the water to flow through and around me, I found myself in pure bliss. The chill that I had begun to experience from the gentle breeze transformed into warmth from the sun.
With each breath I took, my inner smile grew – blossoming with so much love! I felt myself become one with the natural world around me!
Lost in the magical vortex of oneness, I received a thought to “look down”. Opening my eyes, I glanced down and on my left pant leg was a humble little bee. Just doing it’s thing and taking a stroll on the fabric of my hiking pants.
In the space we were in, I felt at peace with my new little friend as he (or she) explored the new terrain. Gently grabbing a small twig to place it in front of the little bee to walk upon and setting my new friend on the ground.
I closed my eyes once more and with lots of love, welcomed the magnificence of Mother Earth with my belly breath in. Batting my eyelashes open, I glanced down at the cute little bee who was merely resting on a lower part of the boulder that I was sitting on. The pure innocence in this moment made me smile!
Noticing that Stella was ready to re-embark the trail leading back to the parking lot, I bid the bee au revoir and moved forward on the path before us.
In mythology, bees are hard workers and can represent accomplishing the impossible. I feel in my heart that the bee was reminding and showing me the importance of being in the moment to enjoy the sweetness of my endeavors. Doing so will help me be in the harmonious flow of experiencing what I’m creating with the law of attraction!
